Belgium introduces compulsory quarantine for monkeypox

Belgium has implemented a mandatory 21-day quarantine for monkeypox patients.
Belgium’s Risk Assessment Group (RAG) and health authorities said those infected will need to isolate for 21 days.
This directive comes after the country recorded three cases of the virus, Daily Mail UK reported.
According to the WHO, there have been 92 confirmed cases and 28 suspected cases of monkeypox.
A distinct bumpy rash, fever, painful muscles, and headache are all indications of monkeypox, which is a disease in the same family as smallpox. Smallpox is less deadly than monkeypox, with a death rate of less than 4%.
