Mark Zerafa , Deputy Secretary General of ADPD – the Green Party was elected to The Mediterranean Network – the branch of the European Green Party focusing on issues pertaining to the Mediterranean region.
Zerafa was elected as a member of the board for a period of one year at one of its regular meetings held yesterday, 14th July 2022.
Carmel Cacopardo, ADPD Chairperson congratulated Mark Zerafa on his election.” This result ensures that a strong Maltese Green voice is present at the European level.”
Mark Zerafa contested last March’s General Election with the Maltese Greens.
He has been active in European Green politics and together with ADPD International Secretary Mina Jack Tolu represented ADPD – The Green Party at the 35th Council of the European Green Party in Riga held in June.
