A video conference was held on April 25 to address Russia’s economic position.
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin together with the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Anton Vaino, First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov, Presidential Aide Maxim Oreshkin, Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, and Central Bank Governor Elvira Nabiullina held this meeting to discuss Russian economy.
Putin emphasized that the economy in Russia continues to stabilize and that the inflation has slowed; “weekly price increases have approached normal levels, and prices on some goods have started dropping.” stated Putin.
He said that it is critical to maintain control of the situation and avoid a misalignment of economic factors.
