Dr.Soler reactions about the peer-reviewed study in Israel

Dr. Jean Karl Soler today posted the observational study from Israel.
An observational study from Israel has found a statistically significant association between an increase in emergency calls for cardiac arrest and acute coronary syndrome (heart attack) and mRNA COVID vaccination in young adults. The increase is in the region of 25%. There was no significant association with COVID infection, but vaccination after infection was also associated with an increase of emergency calls for cardiac problems.
This study confirms other studies which found an association between mRNA COVID vaccination and myocarditis in young adults, especially with the second or third dose, and higher with Moderna than Pfizer.
These consistent trends suggest an urgent need to review COVID vaccination with mRNA vaccines in healthy young people. The risk of myocarditis is uncommon, but is likely to happen once per 3000 to 6000 vaccine doses.
“An increase of over 25% was detected in both call types during January–May 2021, compared with the years 2019–2020. Using Negative Binomial regression models, the weekly emergency call counts were significantly associated with the rates of 1st and 2nd vaccine doses administered to this age group but were not with COVID‑19 infection rates.”
