Fearne says May 1 also celebrates end of pandemic

On May 1, The Minister of Health Chris Fearne stated that the country can now actually celebrate the end of the pandemic and that Today’s celebration should be “a celebration that celebrates the end of the pandemic,” in addition to the celebration for workers.
The announcement came on the last day for some Covid 19 regulations, as masks would no longer be required on aeroplanes, in hospitals, or nursing homes as of Monday.
“Businesses will now be free to implement the measures they think are best for their clients and staff,” Fearne said.
“If they want to ditch the masks completely, they can. If they want to keep them in case they want to attract the more cautious clientele, they can as well. And if they want to leave everyone to do as they please, they’re free to do that as well. Everyone has to take their responsibility from now on.” stated the Ministry of Health.
