In a press release Independent candidate Arnold Cassola stated that Iosif Galea under custody in Germany.
“The police commissioner and AG continue failing the Maltese people with regards to the case of Iosif Galea.
First they kept his European Arrest warrant hidden and let Galea travel unhindered. Then they fabricated a Maltese arrest warrant after he had already been arrested by the Italians and then they kept totally silent about the case till today.
In the name of transparency, it is good for the Maltese people to know that Galea was extradited from Italy to Germany weeks ago and is now in the hands of the German authorities.” stated Cassola.
