More than 14,000 voting documents have not been collected by the deadline.
At least 14,000 will not cast their votes in Saturday’s General Election after failing to pick up their voting documents by last night’s deadline.
Final verification of the exact number of uncollected votes against the register of eligible voters was still ongoing Friday morning.
That’s more than the 8,372 voting documents unclaimed by the deadline in the 2017 general election. At that time, the number of eligible voters was about 13,000 fewer than today.
