Polish Health Ministry and Moderna to discuss vaccine contract

The Polish Health Ministry and Moderna, one of the Covid vaccine makers, will have an online conference on Friday to discuss revisions to Poland’s vaccine procurement contract, according to the ministry.
Poland wants to stop buying the Moderna vaccination, claiming that it needs the money for housing over 2.5 million Ukrainian war refugees.
Poland has previously stated that it would not accept or pay for any more vaccinations from Pfizer, another vaccine manufacturer.
It is impossible not to see what is happening across our eastern border, nor the vast numbers of refugees that have arrived in Poland, and who must be provided with, among other things, medical care,” the ministry told Polish News Agency.
