Quick view after the election-A.Heart

As expected, the Labour party has won the elections. While congratulating the winner, I sincerely hope that the Prime minister will not grow a bigger head.
It seems that he is already aware of some arrogance, as he would never have promised humility in return to the citizens, trusting him once more with governance.
I truly wish to believe that humility refers to the humble aspect rather than to mockery or humiliation.
Of course, one must not forget that he faced hard times from day one, but then again, a considerable amount of citizens suffered consequences due to his hard-headed decisions.
Eventually, I sincerely wish him to keep his humble promise and direct us to a better future for the sake of our children especially.

On the other hand, Dr. Bernard Grech still have to do miracles to regain trust. He did not only loose his candidates but also most of the Nationalist voters. Due to the circumstances, I guess we were quite lucky not to have him to lead us, especially with what is happening in other countries nowadays and it seems he is not strong enough to cater to such situations.

The small parties are gaining up more but lack experience and need to work harder to present a stronger basis of their principles.

Summoning up, there wasn’t much of a choice, was there?

Let’s pray for unity and prosperity for our country. We all have our duties towards ourselves, our families, and others. As long as we respect everyone, give our share of goodwill, and look for a brighter future by learning from our own mistakes, then whoever leads MUST protect us and serve the country fairly for the interest of its own people.
May this tiny island live in peace and serenity.
