The fast-food business that will eventually replace McDonald’s in Russia has unveiled its new logo in advance of the opening of its first locations.
Sistema PBO took over administration of McDonald’s 850 restaurants in Russia after the company announced its exit from the country last month.
Two orange lines and a red dot in front of a green background are claimed to depict chips and a burger in the fast-food chain’s new logo. The chain’s new name has yet to be revealed, despite the fact that it is now under new management and will reopen on June 12, a patriotic holiday celebrating the country’s independence.
The McDonald’s app in Russia has been rebranded “My Burger,” according to reports from Russia’s RIA Novosti news agency. This is a temporary name, according to the agency, in order to comply with the criteria to remove the McDonald’s brand.
