Today, 08.06.2022, Parliament is set to adopt its position on eight proposals that are part of the “Fit for 55 in 2030 package”. This is the EU’s plan to cut greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030 compared to 1990 levels and have net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (climate neutrality) by 2050, in line with the European Climate Law. Two voting sessions today at 12.30 and 17.00.
Cristian Terhes – Europarlamentar PNTCD posted on his Facebook page-
“The European Parliament will vote on the most harmful initiatives that will lead to the economic destruction of the EU and the mass poverty of the population. It’s about 3 initiatives for the implementation of carbon “quotes” imposed, for now, on different economic sectors. I say “for now”, because the next step will be to be imposed on people, but for that they will need digital identity.
“The [carbon] emissions must have a price that changes our behavior”*, Ursula von der Leyen said in 2019, when she was a candidate for the presidency of the European Commission.
The goal of these public policies was not to lower carbon emissions (a utopia), but to control population.
Now voting is on to create the system for carbon emission quotas, which will lead to the explosion of prices, making any product or service in the EU uncompetitive on the global market.
I will be voting AGAINST on the line. The problem is that, since the voting in Plenue has returned, very few of the votes are RCV (Roll Call Vote), that is to be nominal counted how each MEP voted. In most of the cases, the votes are done by raising your hands, in the pile, and the president of the session appreciates “on the eye”, on whose side there are more votes: pro, against or abstinence. If from the hall a “check” is shouted by several MEPs, the president of the session may ask for a unanimous vote, if not… stay as he liked it
These are votes with major impact for us and the generations that come after us, which is why the vote on each article or amendment should be uninominal, so you know how each MEP voted.
Anyway, the final votes on the 3 projects are RCV, so you can see how everyone voted on the final proposals.
The Digital Green Certificate was just the preparation for what’s to come with these carbon rates.
