Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer following a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump.
During their meeting at Downing Street, Starmer assured Zelensky of the United Kingdom’s full support. Additionally, they announced a £1.6billion export finance deal to bolster Ukraine’s military capabilities, particularly air defense missiles.
This historic £1.6bn deal will provid thousands of air defence missiles for Ukraine and boosts UK jobs and growth. Which Deal will create 200 jobs in Northern Ireland and provide 5000 air defence missiles missiles to Ukraine.
Later today, the UK prime minister will host a summit in London with European and Canadian leaders. Zelensky will attend alongside other leaders from various European countries, as well as representatives from Canada, Turkey, and NATO. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will also participate in the meeting.
Audience with King Charles: Zelensky was scheduled to have an audience with King Charles III later in the day.
