This newsroom has been informed yesterday that the Childcare Center for Mater Dei Staff has been closed with immediate effect.
No information was provided to the parents sending their children there and neither was any alternative albeit a list of childcare centers. They were informed that they should find another childcare by Monday which in this period of time is almost impossible.
Is this the sense of appreciation given to the Mater Dei Staff that have been front runners during the Covid period and that provide an essential service for the Maltese Islands?
